Services for Security Officers

I'M ALREADY WORKING AS A SECURITY OFFICER. WHY SHOULD I TAKE THIS TRAINING COURSE?
As a result of the Security Officer Registration Act (SORA) passed in 2004, all security officers employed in NJ must be registered with, and certified by, the NJ State Police. In order to be certified as a Security Officer, you must have 24 hours of initial training, and in order to be re-certified every two years, you must take an 8 hour refresher course.

WHY SHOULD I GO TO AFI SECURITY TRAINING INSTITUTE FOR MY TRAINING?
Our instructors all have experience in this field, and can give you the benefit of their experience in addition to the required class material. In addition, we offer a choice between a straight 3 day course, or if you're working, we can offer an extended class in the evenings. Additionally, if there are a number of people from the same company attending the same class, there may be a discount. Please have your employer contact us for details.

DO I HAVE TO GO TO AFI FOR MY TRAINING?
Normally, yes. But if your employer has 10 or more officers to be trained in one class, we can make arrangements to conduct the training at your employer's place of business. Please have your employer contact us
