WITH ALL THE TRAINING SCHOOLS OUT THERE, WHY SHOULD I CHOOSE AFI TO SEND MY SECURITY OFFICERS TO?

Our principals and chief instructors are probably already known to you through personal knowledge, a working relationship, or professional and fraternal organizations, so you know our ability, integrity, ability and professionalism.

Our director and chief instructor¹s experience comes from the private sector ­ from supervising and training guards during many years in this field. We know what you¹re looking for; we have the experience of dealing with security.

Unlike other instructors who may hold classes in hotel meeting rooms or banquet rooms, we have a permanent base of operations. We¹ll still be here long after many current instructors let their certifications expire.

In addition, we can offer the following services that most other schools
can't offer:

• We are fully insured.
• We can hold classes at our location, or yours (or your client's).
• We offer a choice between a 3 day/8 hour per day course, or an 8 day/3 hour per day course at our location.
• Depending on your staffing needs, we can also offer courses on a 4 day/6 hour per day basis, a 5 day/5 hour  per day basis,  or an 8 day/ 3 hour per day course for those officers who can’t easily be replaced at your or your client’s location.
• We offer the ability to register your employees for training on our website, at your convenience, and offer the ability to pay via credit card through the website.
• Pre-screening of guards' employment history through our affiliate, Guardscreen, Inc., which will allow you to verify your applicant's employment with other security agencies and fulfill part of your due diligence requirements. In some cases, by using Guardscreen's services, you may not have to conduct a background investigation. Please visit the Guardscreen website for more information on this unique service.

DO I HAVE TO SEND MY SECURITY OFFICERS TO YOUR LOCATION?
Not necessarily. If you have 10 or more security officers to be registered in one class, we can conduct training at your location. Additionally, if your staffing presents a scheduling challenge, instead of a 3 day/8 hour daily course, we can offer courses on a 4 day/6 hour per day basis, a 5 day/5 hour per day basis, or an 8 day/ 3 hour per day course for those officers who can’t easily be replaced and will be working in addition to taking the course.

DO I HAVE TO SEND A CHECK FOR EACH SECURITY OFFICER?
No, you can send one check or pay by credit card during the online registration process.

WE'RE ALWAYS LOOKING FOR QUALIFIED SECURITY OFFICERS. DO YOU HAVE A PLACEMENT SERVICE?
After a student who is not already employed passes our course, we will provide him or her with a reference to our client security companies which are hiring. We will also have a link to those companies in our Resources section.
